Well, even though a little something got switched up with this dessert favorite, there is still no doubt that these Brown Sugar Brownies will be better than ever. They start with a hearty dose of rich brown sugar, not the basic white sugar, to elevate them to a whole new level of tasty. This moist and rich fantasy fudge treat is packed with all the chocolate chips your little heart desires. Jump on the change-train and enjoy Brown Sugar Brownies when your chocolate sweet tooth rears its cute little face. That sweet brown sugar is truly the secret to brownie perfection. You will quickly learn that switching it up means revving up your favorite chocolate-flavored bliss. Trust us, a change will do you good!
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup flour
- salt, to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 -Grease an 8-inch square baking dish.
Step 3 -In a large mixing bowl, add the melted butter, the brown sugar, the vanilla extract, and the eggs and mix to combine.
Step 4 -Add the flour, the salt, the baking powder, and the cocoa powder to the butter mixture and mix to combine until no dry spots remain.
Step 5 -Add the chocolate chips to the brownie batter and gently stir to combine.
Step 6 -Transfer the brownie batter to the prepared baking dish and bake until the brownies pull away from the edge of the dish, about 32-35 minutes.
Step 7 -Let the brownies cool for 30 minutes.
Step 8 -Cut the brownies and serve.
