Ingredients

  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 (12 ounces) bottle lemon-lime soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon coconut extract
  • lime juice, optional, to taste
  • blue food coloring, optional, to taste

Directions

Step 1 -Add the 1/2 tablespoon sugar to a small bowl with the 1 tablespoon of water.

Step 2 -Mix and microwave the mixture just long enough to dissolve the sugar, about 30 seconds.

Step 3 -Set the mixture aside to cool.

Step 4 -Fill a glass with crushed ice.

Step 5 -Add the lemon-lime soda to the glass, and set it aside.
