Ingredients

1 cup dry white wine
1/2 pound Swiss cheese, shredded
1/2 pound Gruyere cheese, shredded
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 pound French bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
preferred meats, optional, to taste, for dipping

Directions

Step 1 -Simmer the wine in the pot that you will be using for the fondue.

Step 2 -Add in the Swiss cheese and Gruyere cheese, adding 1/4 pound at a time and stirring after each addition of the cheese until it is completely melted.

Step 3 -Stir in the flour.

Step 4 -When the cheese is melted and the flour is incorporated, add in the salt and nutmeg.

Step 5 -Serve the fondue with the French bread and preferred meats.
