Philly cheesesteaks in less than 30 minutes? And enough for everyone to boot? Hard to pass that up! Easy Philly Sliders are buttery buns loaded with the classic combination of juicy, savory beef, tender onions, and vibrant green peppers, all mixed with tangy, rich cream cheese. Of course, Easy Philly Sliders don't skimp out on the provolone, because it wouldn't be Philly cheesesteak fun without cheese. You and your family will have plenty to go around and love this dish!
Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 sweet yellow onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 24 slider rolls
- 6 ounces provolone cheese, thinly sliced
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 -In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef, the onion, and the bell pepper and cook, while crumbling the beef, until it is no longer pink, about 8-10 minutes.
Step 3 -Drain the fat from the skillet.
Step 4 -Add the garlic powder, the salt, the pepper, and the onion powder and stir to combine.
Step 5 -Add in the cream cheese and mix until combined.
Step 6 -Cut the slider rolls in half horizontally and lay the bottom sections in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Step 7 -Spread the beef mixture evenly over the bottom roll layer.
Step 8 -Top the beef mixture evenly with the provolone cheese slices.
Step 9 -Replace the tops of the rolls.
Step 10 -Mix the melted butter and the garlic salt together.
Step 11 -Cut between the sandwich rolls to divide each slider sandwich, then brush the butter mixture over the top.
Step 12 -Bake until heated through, about 20-30 minutes.
Step 13 -Serve.
