Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons honey mustard, store-bought or homemade
  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 2 slices white cheddar cheese, sliced in half
  • 4 slices deli turkey
  • 1 medium tomato, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup fresh baby spinach
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Directions

Step 1 -Spread 1/4 tablespoon of the honey mustard on one side of each of the bread slices.

Step 2 -Place 1 cheese half on each of the bread slices.

Step 3 -Place 2 of the turkey slices, 2 of the tomato slices, and 1/4 cup of the baby spinach each on 2 of the slices of bread.

Step 4 -Place 2 of the bacon slices on each of the remaining slices of bread.

Step 5 -Close the sandwiches.

Step 6 -Spread 1/2 tablespoon of the butter on the outside of both of the sandwiches.

Step 7 -Heat a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 8 -Add the buttered sandwiches to the heated skillet and toast, flipping once, until the cheese has melted and the sandwich is warmed through, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Step 9 -Slice the sandwiches in half and stack the halves on top of each other. Insert a wooden skewer through the center to secure them together.

Step 10 -Serve.
