Ingredients

  • 4 avocados, peeled and halved
  • 2 lemons, juiced
  • 4 shallots or 3 red onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 jalapeño, seeded and chopped
  • 1/4 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped
  • tortilla chips, to taste, for serving

Directions

Step 1 -Place the avocado flesh in a bowl and mash it with a fork until smooth, leaving some chunks if desired.

Step 2 -Add the lemon juice, the shallots, the salt, the pepper, the jalapeños, and the cilantro and mix well to combine.

Step 3 -Serve with the chips.
