Ingredients

  • 1 (15-ounce) can solid-pack pumpkin
  • 1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 (15.25-ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups walnuts, chopped
  • vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, optional, for serving

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 -Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Step 3 -In a large bowl, whisk the pumpkin, the evaporated milk, the eggs, the sugar, and the pumpkin pie spice together until smooth.

Step 4 -Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish.
