About
Why would anyone opt for raw red onions when these Roasted Red Onions are quick, easy, and right there? Instead of the sharp spiciness you might expect, Roasted Red Onions are caramelized, sweet, and tender, just ready to be piled onto burgers or thrown on top of some steaks, or maybe just enjoyed on their own next to your favorite protein! It's all good with Roasted Red Onions; it's the best way to enjoy onion flavor without all the harshness!
Ingredients
- 1 large red onion, peeled
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Step 4 -Add the olive oil to the onion rings and toss to coat.
Step 5 -Sprinkle the onion rings with the salt.
Step 6 -Roast the onions, stirring once halfway through, until they are soft and caramelized, about 20 minutes.
