What Sheet-Pan Steak & Potatoes bring to the table, beyond the amazing sheet pan energy, is steakhouse indulgence and heartiness. The steaks are broiled to your favorite level of rosy doneness and juiciness, with a crisp and savory golden-brown jacket on all sides and a dollop of homemade garlic butter, adding richness and aroma to every bite. Buttery potatoes and crisp green beans ensure you've got a well-rounded and always exciting meal without the effort. Sheet-Pan Steak & Potatoes make weeknight meals suddenly much more captivating!
Ingredients
- 1 pound Yukon Gold potatoes, small ones halved and larger ones quartered
- 1/2 pound green beans, trimmed and cut in half
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- 1 clove garlic, minced, plus more, to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon dried garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 1/2 pounds top sirloin steaks
- For the topping:
- 1/4 cup salted butter, softened
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon dried garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2 -Lightly grease a baking sheet.
Step 3 -Place the potatoes and the green beans on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 4 -Drizzle the potatoes and the green beans with the olive oil and season them with the salt, the pepper, 1 of the garlic cloves, the garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon of the Italian seasoning, tossing to combine.
Step 5 -Roast them in the oven for 20 minutes.
Step 6 -Transfer the baking sheet from the oven and toss the potatoes and the green beans again, leaving room for the steaks on the pan.
Step 7 -Turn on the broiler.
Step 8 -Season the steaks with the salt and the pepper.
Step 9 -Place the steaks on the baking sheet.
Step 10 -Place the baking sheet in the oven and broil, flipping once, until the steaks are at least medium-rare internally reaching 135 degrees F, about 3-5 minutes per side.
Step 11 -Transfer the baking sheet from the oven.
Step 12 -Place the steaks on a cutting board.
Step 13 -Combine the butter with the remaining garlic, the remaining garlic powder, and the remaining Italian seasoning.
Step 14 -Spread 1/2 of the garlic-butter over the steaks.
Step 15 -Tent the steaks loosely with foil and allow them to rest for 5 minutes.
Step 16 -Slice the steaks against the grain.
Step 17 -Serve the steaks, the potatoes, and the green beans with the remaining garlic-butter and the parsley.
