Cha-cha-cha your way into a new season! With this Sparkling Spring Margarita, you will kick winter to the curb in no time! Refreshing lime juice swirls 'round and 'round with some two-to-tango tequila, triple-the-fun triple sec, and then a little of your favorite sparkling wine to top off the season. Salt-rimmed glasses are definitely required! Sparkling Spring Margarita is the new creation you've been longing for. The spring season has awakened!

Ingredients

1/4 cup coarse salt
4 ounces lime juice, plus more, to taste
3 ounces tequila
2 ounces triple sec
ice, to taste
sparkling prosecco or cava, to taste
lime wedges, to taste, for garnish

Directions

Step 1 -On a small plate, add the salt.

Step 2 -On a second small plate, add the extra lime juice.

Step 3 -Dip the rims of two glasses into the lime juice, then into the salt.

Step 4 -In a cocktail shaker, add the tequila, the triple sec, the remaining 4 ounces of the lime juice, and the ice and shake vigorously to combine and chill thoroughly, about 10-20 seconds.

Step 5 -Strain the margarita into the prepared glasses and top with the prosecco.

Step 6 -Serve the margaritas, garnished with the lime wedges.
