Ingredients

  • 6 cups Chex™ cereal
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cup boxed sugar cookie mix
  • 16 ounces green-colored vanilla icing, such as Wilton® Green Decorator Vanilla-Flavored Icing
  • gold-colored sprinkles, to taste

Directions

Step 1 -In a large bowl, add the cereal.

Step 2 -In a 2-gallon, resealable plastic bag, add the powdered sugar and the cookie mix, seal, and shake to combine.

Step 3 -In a microwave-safe bowl, add the icing and heat in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring after each, until it has melted.

Step 4 -Pour the melted icing over the cereal and carefully fold it in to evenly coat. Sprinkle with the gold sprinkles.

Step 5 -Pour the icing-coated cereal into the sugar mixture, seal the bag, and gently shake until the cereal is fully-coated.

Step 6 -Pour the snack mix onto a baking pan, spread it out, and let it dry.

Step 7 -Serve the snack mix, topped with more of the gold sprinkles.
