This creamy, floral, sweet peach cocktail feels like taking a bite of the Peach State's namesake fruit, with the excitement of tequila and a little electric lime mixed in. Orange liqueur helps emphasize the peach flavor and makes the brew a touch sweeter! The Georgia Peach is just a summer's worth of flavor!

Ingredients

1 peach, very ripe, roughly chopped, plus more, to taste, sliced, for garnish
ice, to taste
1/2 ounce lime juice, plus more, to taste
3 ounces tequila
1/2 ounce orange liqueur
1/2 ounce simple syrup
coarse salt, to taste

Directions

Step 1 -In a blender, add 1 of the chopped peaches and purée until smooth.

Step 2 -Strain the puréed peach through a mesh strainer into a bowl and discard the bits of skin.

Step 3 -In a cocktail shaker, add the ice, the puréed peach, 1/2 ounce of the lime juice, the tequila, the orange liqueur, and the simple syrup, cover, and shake well to combine.

Step 4 -In a shallow dish, add the coarse salt.

Step 5 -In a separate shallow dish, add the extra lime juice.

Step 6 -Dip the rims of two serving glasses in the lime juice, then in the coarse salt.

Step 7 -Fill each prepared serving glass halfway with more of the ice.

Step 8 -Strain the cocktail mixture evenly between the prepared serving glasses.

Step 9 -Serve garnished with the extra peach slices.
