  • 1 1/2 pounds of ground beef
  • 1 (15.5-ounce) can of sloppy joe sauce
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups biscuit/baking mix
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup milk, 2%
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2 -Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Step 3 -In a large skillet, cook and crumble the beef over medium heat until it is no longer pink, about 7-10 minutes.

Step 4 -Drain the grease from the skillet.

Step 5 -Stir the sloppy joe sauce into the meat and ensure the meat is thoroughly covered.

Step 6 -Transfer the meat mixture to the prepared baking dish.

Step 7 -Sprinkle the meat mixture with the cheese.

Step 8 -In a large bowl, combine the biscuit mix, eggs, and milk until it is just blended.

Step 9 -Pour the biscuit mixture over the cheese on the meat mixture and sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
