Ingredients

  • For the casserole:
  • 2 (8-ounce) cans crescent dough sheets
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon, divided
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 Granny Smith apples, cored and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • For the glaze:
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup whole milk

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 -Coat a 9x9-inch baking dish with nonstick baking spray.

Step 3 -Cut the crescent sheets into 1-inch-thick cubes and place in a medium bowl.

Step 4 -Add 1/2 of the cinnamon and the brown sugar to the crescent cubes and toss to coat.

Step 5 -In a large bowl, add the apples, the flour, and the remaining cinnamon and toss to coat.

Step 6 -Add the coated crescent cubes to the apple mixture and toss to combine.

Step 7 -Pour the apple mixture into the prepared baking dish and drizzle with the melted butter.

Step 8 -Bake the casserole until it is golden-brown, about 40-45 minutes.

Step 9 -Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes.

Step 10 -In a small bowl, add the powdered sugar and the milk and whisk to combine. If it's too thick, microwave it for 15 seconds.

Step 11 -Pour the glaze over the casserole.

Step 12 -Serve.
